What a wonderful world!

I think knitting in sunshine is completely underestimated. It's not too hot, it's not too sweatty, just wonderful. That's why I took the baby, two projects and lots of water and strawberry to go down to the citybeach. Well, this is what we call a beach here in North-Norway. But none the less, stunningly beautiful. Agree?

We stayed there until the seagulls attacked us. I can't believe how rude they are! As soon as you have packed up some food, they are there. Just screaming and being disgusting. YUK!

Anyway, it was lovely just sitting there while the baby was sleeping. Just admiring the view, and life and all the text-messages. haha. I was actually finished with the July-hat aswell.

I used 56grams in total.
A very easy hat to knit, and I think Hjørdis (the head) was quite satisfied. I had to unravel it because I had managed to cast on 3 stitches less than I should. I didn't realize it until I was going to decrease.

For the more pleasant news: I recieved a package from "Knitters Treasure Swap" (ravelry link)
It was from Kugi from Slovenia. She has done a brilliant job finding me things. I just love it!

5 skeins of yarn, 4 in a blended wool/mohair-blend, and one in blended wool. I think I would make a shawl out of the greens but I'm not sure.

2 knitting magazines, coffee, needles, limonade, sweets, stickers, smelly little things. Oooh, I LOVE IT!
And ofcourse this beautiful hat! I can' believe it! It's just soooo NICE!

And two stitchholders, one can never have too many of those!

Well, for you who thinks my photos are crappy, I have just ordered a new camera. So stop the whining and come back later for a visit! Well, I'm off to go and knit in the sun. Have a beautiful day!
