Hats hats hats

Hat made for Oslo Krisesenter!Pattern: Turn A square
Yarn: Cascade 220 and Noro Aurora
Yarn amount: 48g
Time elapsed: 2 nights

Very easy to knit, but too big for me. I don't have that much brain in me. Haha.

I have too much that I want to make, but so little time. This is an all-time-project for me, a christening-stitching for Kristiane, maybe showing it to you will do so that I have to finish it. I just need som backing up!

Well, Kristiane needs to go to the hospital today, so I better get shined up before I pick her up at the kindergarden.

Neckwarmer for little girls.

Well, little girls get cold necks. Luckily this was a fast knit. And Kristiane will have it on in kindergarden tomorrow. But I think it was a bit too big, I could wear it!

Facts:
Pattern: #1920 Hals from "Strikk til Nøstebarn"
Yarn: Askeladen 3tr merino, red.
Yarn amount: 43g
Time elapsed: A few hours.

Tomorrow I can continue with my Midsummer Shawl. Can't wait!

Green is my new obsession

For those of you who are wondering, the heading is inspired by Aerosmith's "Pink".

A friend of mine is having a baby, well not him ofcourse, but his girlfriend. When I found out, I really wanted to knit something for the baby. I love babies! So I landed on this baby blanket. They don't know the sex, so I think this olive-color is beautiful. It's 1x1 meter, so bigger than my one-year-old. Knitted diagonally.

Facts of today:
Pattern: Nøstebarnteppe from "strikk til nøstebarn"
Yarn: Askeladen 2tr merinowool in the color olive
Yarn amount: 200g
Time elapsed: Well, hmm, boring knitting so I used at least 3 months on it.

Still knitting for Oslo krisesenter, this time a scarf. I love this yarn for scarves! I have one in black/purple. I don't know the name of the yarn, but it's something -nille had a few years ago.
I used 164g and two nights.
And I have made two pearl necklaces, I love pearls too! But I can't afford buying the real thing, that's a job for the hunk in Oslo. It's not difficult, but the result is beautiful. My new favourite necklaces.

FINALLY!

Remember these?

Well, they are finished now. One left and one right mitten. I took me forever to make them, but I think it was worth it! But I will only make one more right mitten, because I have one left without a partner.

Facts:
Pattern: 7. Lady mitten, from Selbustrikk (modified pattern)
Yarn: Rauma Finull
Yarn amount: 83g
Time elapsed: WAY TO MUCH!

Tomorrow Bodø Glimt is playing against TIL.
They are the "enemies". I can't wait!

At Hobbyforum we're having a contest agains the Danish forum Rokken to knit most for a Crisis-senter (don't know what it's called in English). Anyway, we Norwegians are knitting for Oslo Krisesenter. Wanna join and beat the Danish? Press the link, and join the forum.

Feltet slippers for child
Pattern: Tøfler (rauma Strikk og Tov)
Yarn: Leftover yarn from Fritidsgarn, Vamsegarn and Trollgarn
Yarn amount: 179g
Time elapsed: 2 evenings

Yesterday after the Stitch and Bitch, I went to HanneJ and helped her organize her yarn. She had so MUCH! I really like organizing other people's stash! Anyway, she took some pictures, so she may be blogging about it today (or tomorrow). I dare her!
When I was finished, I got some yarn for the job! WEEEE!
One skein of Noro Aurora, she said she hated knitting with it, but I know exactly what I'll use it for.

And some undefined yarn from Nille, I like knitting scarf from it, and have a little more than half a skein of it myself.

Thank you, HanneJ. And because I like her mother so much, I dedicate this non-cursing post to her. Faen.

Diamo.... No, beads are a girls best friend!

When I was in Jessheim in August, I had to visit a little beautiful shop called "Perlesmia", it's like a little cottage between all the big shops and mall. I should have taken a picture of it, but I will. Someday. Anyway, I haven't been beading for almost two years, because I got so fed up with it. I have lots and lots of beads in a drawer at the "craftsroom" (although it's my daughters bedroom, I like calling it the other thing).
Well, that little visit resulted in these beautiful beads. I didn't really think about what I wanted to make, but I will make myself a pearled necklace.

Coming back to Bodø, I went to the local beadingshop, and bought me some more beads to make "charms" to hang on my silver necklace, so I made these 4. Actually, I got some refreshing on how to make them with the first red heart, but the other three I have made myself.

Mittenmania?

Well, now that Kristiane is in kindergarden, she has to have mittens. I got a beautiful hat-and-mitten-kit from HanneJ for her birthday. But since I don't know how to sew on stitches, you'll have to wait to see the frontside of the mittens.

Oh, not so boring facts:
Pattern: Navia "Hue Vanter" 2 designs
Size: 1-2 years
Yarn: Navia Duo
Yarn amount: 25g!!
Time elapsed: maybe 10 hours or so?

Well, I clearly have a thing for mittens nowadays, because I had to make another pair right after the babymittens were done. These were knitted in Manos Del Uruguay ( I love that yarn) and it only took me about 4 hours to make two! May I suggest that you watch your favourite TV-show on DVD while knitting these. In my case; Grey's anatomy.

Well, fun facts:
Pattern: 6-degree mittens
Size: One size (female)
Yarn: Manos Del Uruguay Jungle colour
Yarn amount: 65g
Time elapsed: 4 hours!

As some may know, I'm a little bit in love. Slightly, maybe. Tiiiiiiiiny tiiiiiiiiny little bit. haha

I have never gotten flowers from a man before (that wasn't my friend or father, have got some flowers from them) and I really love sunflowers! Well, I know that it's not real sunflowers, but they are beautiful!
With and without blitz on the camera.
Jealous?
As a little PS; I'm actually finishing the f(/&#&/%¤ Bodø Glimt mittens now, but I was short some yarn. So actually I had three pairs of mittens on my Knit-Picks-needles.
